Day 1: How Do I reach Delhi, the Capital City of India?
Delhi is an international metropolis. Perhaps daunting at first sight, a little exploring soon reveals a rich, diverse, and fascinating culture.
You'll arrive at the Delhi airport, then check into one of the luxury hotels like The Oberoi or The Imperial India. After you've freshened up, take a walk through Khari Baoli, Asia's largest wholesale spice market. It treats your senses in the best way, selling all kinds of spices, nuts, herbs, and food products like rice and tea.
Day 2: Which are the must-visit attractions in Delhi?
Explore the incredible Humayun's Tomb, which offers a panoramic view of the majestic Persian-style garden called Char Bagh. Then you will visit the India Gate, a major war memorial commemorating Indian soldiers. Then take a tour of the Parliament of India & Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest masonry tower in India.
After exploring New Delhi, we head to Old Delhi, which is a completely different world. I'd highly recommend taking a guided tour here because the history lessons really bring the streets to life.
Your tour will begin at the Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques, constructed by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Its three imposing domes, minarets, and the towering presence of the central prayer hall reflect the magnificence of Mughal architecture. After that, go to the Red Fort, which was also constructed by Shah Jahan. As you enter through the Lahori gate, simply take in the beauty of its amazing architecture while you wander through the preserved buildings and garden inside.
Take a rickshaw ride through the bustling Chandni Chowk market. It's chaotic, loud, and absolutely unforgettable. In the evening, savor Indian chaat and dahi kebabs at the 360 restaurant, or try local street food like stuffed parathas and jalebis in the "Parathe wali Gali" of Chandni Chowk.
You can extend your trip to nearby attractions like the National Museum and Lodhi Garden.

Day 3: What is the Best Way to Journey to Agra?
The ultimate symbol of eternal love and one of the seven wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal is the main reason people visit Agra. You may have seen it a million times in photos, but believe me, seeing it for yourself is worthwhile. After about a 4-hour drive from Delhi to Agra (which goes faster than you'd think), you'll check into your luxury accommodation, like the Oberoi or Taj Hotel.
Take a tour of the Agra Fort after checking into your hotel and resting for some time. Built by Emperor Akbar, another architectural masterpiece, the Agra Fort is located just a few minutes away from the Taj Mahal. You will see magnificent Mughal architecture and have a great view of the Taj Mahal.
Day 4: What is the Best Hour of the Day to Visit the Taj Mahal?

If you want to experience the Taj Mahal properly, get there early. And I mean really early, before sunrise. I would suggest you hire an expert guide who will narrate the fascinating story of love behind the monument. One of the benefits of staying at the Oberoi Amarvilas hotel is that they provide a golf cart ride before sunrise directly to the entry gate.
Book with a luxury travel agency so you'll be among the first to enter the complex. Trust me, experiencing the Taj as the sunlight hits that marble dome without crowds around is absolutely worth the early wake-up call. The Taj Mahal is open all days of the week except Friday. It's best to visit the seventh wonder of the world on weekdays to avoid crowds.
Take a tour of the Itmad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) & the grand Mehtab Bagh. Dine in at one of the luxury restaurants, like the Taj Terrace Hotel. From the elevated perch at the hotel, the view of the Taj Mahal is breathtaking, especially in the evening when the sky changes color, along with Live music performances.
You can extend your trip and visit the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri.
Reserve Your Sunrise Taj Mahal Tour
TL;DR: Arrive before sunrise to witness the Taj Mahal without crowds as morning light illuminates the marble dome.
Day 5: How Can I Travel from Agra to Jaipur?
Agra is about the Taj, Delhi is about culture, and Jaipur is all about the royal flair and color. Jaipur, or "The Pink City" as everyone calls it, has been painted in terracotta pink. It's the color of hospitality, apparently, and one of many remnants of its royal history.
You can start your 3-hour drive to Jaipur in the morning. You can book your stay here at the Rambagh Palace or any other luxury hotel. Once you enter "the pink city" of Jaipur, take a tour of the incredible Abhaneri stepwell, also known as Chand Baori.
Day 6: How Do I Spend One Day in Jaipur?

The next day, your tour will begin by visiting the famous Amer Fort. If the Taj Mahal represents love in India, then Amer Fort represents regal splendor. One of Jaipur's most popular tourist attractions, which is located on top of a small hill with a view of Maota Lake.
While you're soaking in the views of this beautifully carved fort, you'll see the diwan-e-aam (the hall where the king addressed the general public), and the Sukh Mahal, which served as the royal family's summer retreat. Do not miss the Sheesh Mahal, which sparkles even with the light of a single candle.
After that, you will visit the lavish City Palace, which is still home to the royal family residents. Marvel at the royal artifacts that are on display in the museum here. Then there's the Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and astronomical observatory. It's basically a collection of 19 astronomical instruments built by Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh, Jaipur's founder, and they're surprisingly fascinating even if astronomy isn't your thing.
You can extend your tour to the nearby attractions like Hawa Mahal, the iconic palace of winds; Jal Mahal, also known as the "Water Palace," which is made of pink sandstone with classical Rajput architecture; and Nahargarh Fort, the famous sunrise point that offers a panoramic view of Jaipur.
TL;DR: The Pink City dazzles with Amer Fort's Sheesh Mahal (mirror palace), the still-inhabited City Palace, and Jantar Mantar
Day 7: Return to Delhi & Farewell
Enjoy a leisurely day at the Rambagh Palace. You've earned it after all that sightseeing. You can explore the palace's rich history on a heritage walk or treat yourself to spa treatments and yoga inspired by Ayurveda at the Wellness Corner. You can also indulge in a variety of cuisines at the Rajput Room. Enjoy a meal outside at Verandah, and then head to Steam (a unique lounge bar) in a restored train car with a steam engine for an evening cocktail.
You will return to Delhi through a one-hour flight from Jaipur to catch your flight home.
