The best places to shop for traditional handicrafts in Jaipur are the vibrant local bazaars like Bapu Bazaar, Johri Bazaar, and Chandpole Bazaar, which offer a vast collection of authentic Rajasthani items. Chandpole Bazaar is famous for its marble carvings, and the oldest market in the city, Johri Bazaar, dubbed “Jewellery lovers’ paradise”, is known for its enamel stone works called Meenakari jewellery and has a good selection of handicrafts and artworks.
A comfortable and efficient option to reach Jaipur is boarding a flight to Delhi, followed by a private chauffeured vehicle via the well-maintained Delhi–Jaipur Expressway (around 3-5 hours), or a private charter flight (under an hour) for a faster, high-end travel experience.
